I think this might be my favorite CD of Cathy's yet. Like her other CDs, Cathy sings lyrics of our collective quilt history, past and present. There is a mixture of moving tributes to incredible quilting projects, both quirky (a quilt made out of duck neck!) and heartwarming (teenagers making quilts to honor veterans of D-Day) that make us think outside our our own experiences, and funny songs that poke fun at everything from ugly quilts to shop hops. (She's singing about US!) "Done Is Better Than Perfect" should be sung at every quilt guild meeting. There are songs that will make you cry, and songs that will make you laugh out loud.
