Madison and his best friend, Charlie, had a wonderful afternoon at Genesee Valley Center. They went out to lunch, visited several stores, met lots of people, and offered licks and tail wags to all. Both are card-carrying therapy dogs who enjoy going out in public to offer "warm fuzzies." (You can see Charlie's yellow circle dog tag identifying him as a therapy dog. Madison has his under his Santa suit, but I see a jingle bell hanging out!) Before every visit, they check in at security and ask permission to enter the mall. They must remain on their very best behavior at all times. They did a great job.
The highlight of the outing was meeting Santa, who was kind enough to let the dogs pose with him for a picture. (Mrs. Claus said it would be OK to share this photo on the web page with you.)
