The beautifully detailed copyrighted designs are printed on special archival paper and heat pressed with ultra clear archival plastic. Even though the core design is paper, they are very sturdy. The earrings arrived yesterday and they are beautiful. I purchased one pair for myself and the other for my best friends 79th birthday in October.
