The generous folks at JHB International have created a button in Daisy’s likeness and will donate a portion of the sales to Leader Dogs For The Blind®.
I met Mrs. Jean H. Barr (President of JHB International) at the International Quilt Market in Houston last year and happened to have pictures of Daisy on my palm pilot. I shared them with her, we talked, and the rest is history. The Daisy Puppy Buttons are hot off the….whatever buttons come off of— a press, I guess! You should be able to find them in your local sewing store AND, of course you can order them here and even more money will be donated to Leader Dogs For The Blind. I can see these babies on shirts, Picture Play Quilts, Puppus Doggus quilts, right above the fly on your favorite pair of jeans, stitched to your lapel just because, or made into earrings! Even NOSE rings. Studs. Whatever! (Sorry, this was from several years ago. We no longer carry the buttons.) |
