This floor is located at the Charleston House Bed and Breakfast in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. We visited the UK in March of 1999, taking my daughter with us to visit my husband’s daughter (they have been best friends since 7th grade) who was studying at the University of Leeds for a year. Our girls were to turn 21 in April and we wanted to celebrate with them together. I implored my husband to photograph this floor and he has requested that I make it into a quilt for him. I’ve gotten as far as drafting it into Electric Quilt and that is as far as I’ve gone for now. You can bet that I’ll be watching my step more in the future! Jan Andrews
