This raw-edge Drunkard's Path quilt was begun by Mary Fairgreve from East Lansing, Michigan. She used many conversational fabrics in the construction of the top, many of them featuring sailboats. Marianne Meiser (Double M Studio) in Genoa, IL took the top and machine-quilted it. She added a conversational fabric featuring yo-yos for backing and carefully machine-quilted outlines of the circular shapes and quilted in the ditch with white thread. A jazzy black and white diagonal stripe binding was a applied by machine, brought to the back of the quilt, and stitched by hand.
The quilt measures 54" x 39" and would be a wonderful lap or child's quilt.
Great job, gals!
This quilt earned $40.00 for Leader Dogs For The Blind!
