($1800.00)

Kudos to Shelley Crum from Canton, Ohio for taking a year's worth of orphan Puppus Doggus blocks and turning them into a spectacular quilt, measuring 68" x 68". She was helped by her cat, Max. (Fourth row down, second from right.)

This quilt is beautifully done with outline machine quilting and meander free-motion quilting with variegated thread throughout. It is very heavily quilted and has a lovely drape.

The black sashing strips have little triangles of color that compliment the Dogguses perfectly. A black binding is applied by machine, brought to the back, and hand-stitched. It has a sleeve for hanging and would be delightful on the wall in the home of any dog (or cat) lover. Do be careful of the button eyes. Check periodically to make sure they are secure and keep the quilt away from small children as buttons do pose a chocking risk.

Thanks to all who donated blocks, including: Karen Hill, Joan Powers, Cindy Koch-Krol, Jarred Hall, Caroline Cieszenski, Shelley Crum, Carole Doyle, Dale Ross, Pamela Gaston, Deb and Annie Graves, Barbara Hayes, Adrienne Acoba, Nancy Mastroianni, and Lori Haffenbreadl.

Thank you, EVERYONE!
