These hand-pieced houses were begun by Frank Palmer of San Diego, CA. He pieced them, set them, and began quilting. Susan Griffith of Carthage, MO took over the task of hand quilting and also bound this little quilt which measures 20" x 20". It is very heavily quilted and has that wonderful feel of an antique quilt. It would make a charming lap quilt, or wall quilt, if you add the sleeve. The applied binding is stitched on by machine, brought to the back, and finished by hand. This quilt earned $26.00 for Leader Dogs For The Blind!
