Kathy Kennedy-Dennis from Houston, Texas created "Singed and Sunburned" from a single orange zebra panel my mother hand dye-stamped. He's appliquéd on a gray background with a relentless orange and yellow sun beating down on the poor little guy! Machine quilted flames shoot out from the sun. Very subtle machine quilting in matching thread adorns the background. The fabric frame is perfect. Binding is applied by machine, brought to the back, and then hand-stitched in place. It is sleeved and ready to hang. It measures 15" x 13" and will take your breath away! Awesome!
