Carrye Kearns from Wilder, Kentucky created this very clever "Shades of Florida" wall-hanging. Yes, it's a bright window shade with red toucans on a yellow background. They are fused onto a shade of black and teal. It has a beaded fringe along the bottom and a blue cord pull. (Looks like it would really go up and down, but it doesn't.)
Below the shade, the night sky is visible—complete with constellations machine-quilted in silver metallic thread!
You'll need a sleeve to hang this one, but it will draw lots of attention wherever you display it.
Super job, Carrye!
